There are many cheap wool quilts and underblankets on the market. The reason for the price difference is either that they are made in countries who pay their workers far less, and/or it’s related to the quality of the wool used.
Cheaper wool products often use coarser wool that can work its way through the casing.
Cheaper wool products may contain short or mixed fibers that simply don’t have the loft or performance of Wooltara bedding. They’re likely to flatten quickly or
become lumpy.
Some cheaper wool products have been found to contain less wool than they claim. Such products could have cold spots or perform poorly all over.
